This was another of my explorations using a quick piano improvisation, copied to other sounds and effected to see what comes out. Again, this has thrown up some interesting textures and possibilities.
I've used several bell-like sounds alongside the piano and compressed to allow the sharper tones to cut through. I've then added some washy, multilayered synth sounds to the mix. I played around with the respective levels during the mix, to lend varying prominence to each part and create a little air. I really like the rhythmic scratchy sound which is triggered by the bass notes and lends some rhythmic element without disrupting the free-flowing nature of the whole.
