Finally we escape the tyranny the piano. This one sounds to me like Romanian wedding music (but what do I know). It came from the usual messing around at the piano but actually popped out in reaction to something else entirely that I was getting frustrated with. I stopped for a moment, then this little tune presented itself and I instantly thought of the tuba/horns accompaniment and then tried clarinet for the melody and the rest took care of itself.
One interesting feature of this piece is that, in addition to being entirely un-quantised (for a hopefully authentic feel), I have played around with the tempo a little to enhance the dynamic and try to mimic the way real players might react to different parts of the tune.
